Manufacturer’s Two-Year Product Warranty

Horseware Ireland North America, including the EquiFit brand, offers a two-year manufacturer’s warranty on all its products.

This warranty guarantees that EquiFit products are free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two years from the original date of purchase from an authorized dealer (“Product Warranty”).

What Is Not Covered

This Product Warranty does not cover the following:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from external forces, misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Cosmetic wear
  • Damage caused by improper care or cleaning
  • Damage from undue strain on materials or closures
  • Lost or stolen products

The warranty is void if:

  • The product has been altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than EquiFit
  • The product was handled incorrectly during the warranty period

Replacing Defective Products

If your EquiFit product is found to be defective:

  • We will replace it with the same style.
  • If unavailable, we will provide a similar style replacement.
  • If purchased at a discount, you will receive a product of equal value.

Note: Products purchased as discontinued items from an authorized EquiFit retailer are not covered under warranty.

If your product is inspected and not deemed defective, it will be returned to you at your expense.

Any replacement product received under this warranty is covered for the remainder of the original two-year period, starting from the date of your original purchase.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To file a claim under this Product Warranty, please contact the authorized EquiFit retailer where you made your purchase.

All claims require the following information:

  • Original proof of purchase (with dealer name and purchase date clearly visible)
  • Description of the product
  • Clear photos showing the entire product
  • Close-up photos of the damaged area
  • Batch Number ID (if applicable)
  • Physical shipping address
  • Phone number and/or email address
  • A brief explanation of what happened

Inspection Required? If further evaluation is needed, EquiFit may request that you return the product.

  • You are responsible for shipping costs to EquiFit’s local warehouse.
  • The product must be clean and dry before shipping.
  • If the claim is approved, EquiFit will provide a replacement with freight prepaid.
